Plantsch (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use the Plantsch mobile application (the “App”).
By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Plant and care information you enter in the App, such as plant names, care tasks, care logs, notes, and optional photos you attach to plants or notes.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device and diagnostic data that iOS may provide to us through standard app analytics/crash reporting tools if enabled in your project (if you do not use any analytics SDKs, this section may not apply).
1.3 Purchases and “Plantsch Pro”
- Payments for optional digital content (Plantsch Pro, a one-time in-app purchase) are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your credit or debit card number, bank account details, or other full payment credentials.
- To unlock Pro features, the App uses Apple’s StoreKit on your device. Apple may share limited purchase-related information with us as needed to validate entitlements (for example, that a purchase completed). We do not maintain our own separate billing database for App Store transactions as described in this policy.
- We do not use your plant or care content to make purchasing decisions and we do not sell that information.
2. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide core App features (plant tracking, reminders, history, and optional media you attach).
- Recognize whether your Apple ID has unlocked Plantsch Pro (through Apple’s systems on your device), so we can enable paid features for you.
- Improve reliability and fix crashes (only if you integrate analytics/crash reporting).
We do not sell your personal information.
3. iCloud and data sync
If you unlock Plantsch Pro and use iCloud features while signed in to iCloud on your device, the App may sync your data across your Apple devices using Apple’s iCloud/CloudKit services.
